“A dogged determination to fight for what’s right, with an exceptional mental and emotional fortitude.'“
Anchored by her attentive spirit, she believes that clients deserve personalized counsel and expertise in every aspect of their case, both in and out of court. Whether she’s dealing with a high conflict custody case or developing a generational legacy plan, Aishah stays focused on her clients and their goals. When she isn’t using her skills in negotiation and conflict theory in the family law and arena, you can find Aishah inside another kind of arena—the boxing ring.
Upon taking her first boxing class, it was clear that she had the heart of a true fighter. “The boxing journey is similar to practicing law,” Aishah McCoy says. “You need to remain focused on your opponent, and you decide who you are and what you’re made of. Most importantly, you have to open your heart to the possibilities that could serve you.”
As a lawyer, she brings these same traits to advocate for her clients—a dogged determination to fight for what’s right, with an exceptional mental and emotional fortitude. Aishah McCoy and her team are the people you want on your side.
Aishah McCoy earned her certificate in Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall Law School. She also volunteers her time to local agencies which provide legal assistance to low income and self-represented litigants, such as RAICES, Legal Line, and Volunteer Legal Services.
